HM The Queen's Diamond Jubilee in 2012

Her Majesty The Queen, our Patron, has graciously given permission for a special commemorative badge to be worn by members of all sections in recognition of the Diamond Jubilee.

The badge will be worn on the right arm band to the extreme left of any other badges worn on the middle row. The badge can be purchased through Brigade Supplies and may be worn throughout a young person's service in the Brigade.

A range of items to commemorate HM The Queen's Diamond Jubilee are now available from BB Supplies.

Can anyone help?

I am wondering if any of you, or any members of your Stedfast Association, can help me find an item that dates back to your 1983 Centenary celebrations.

I am trying to locate one of the red and blue Umbro football shirts used in the Aberdeen vs. Arsenal match in August 1983.  The Arsenal team wore red shirts with long blue sleeves and red cuffs that day. 

The shirts have the Umbro logo on one side of the chest, and the Boys Brigade Centenary badge on the other.  If anyone has one of these shirts, or photos of one of these shirts, or they know the whereabouts of one of them, please let me know.  I am looking to obtain some good quality pictures of the shirt, or to possibly buy one of the shirts. 

This is related to a project on the history of Arsenal FC shirts.

Celebrate Aberdeen

We have registered to take part in the Celebrate Aberdeen Parade again this year on Saturday 9th June 2012 on Union Street.

Everyone who took part in last year's parade had an amazing time.

We hope that many of you will want to take part this year.
