A Happy New Year to All

At the start of this new year I look forward to a productive year in the battalion.  The executive is to visit companies, not to inspect them but to see what help the Battalion can be to them and try to answer any queries companies may have. I look forward to taking part in the training that is coming up particularly the YLT courses where I can meet with the new officers joining the Battalion. The Anchor section fun day is coming up and that is a fun afternoon always plenty of action and noise. Also the Juniors competition day. another action filled afternoon culminating in a section winning the Bisset trophy. The Company Section have still a few competitions and activities that boys can take part in. I do hope that sections encourage their boys to take part and make the activities a success.
Have a good new year and I wish all Boys, officers and helpers every success in 2012.
